John is an unapologetically optimistic pessimist and product professional with the goal of solving one user problem a day. He is still searching for the perfect pouring of a pint of Guinness, the ultimate fantasy novel, and an Irish rugby world cup title.

During the past two decades, John has immersed himself in the product development process on leading products in a number of industries. Beyond his current work with Prodege, he has worked on successful products in the consumer reporting industry, for contract management, and for due diligence in the finance industry.

When he is not working on solving user problems, John can usually be found spending time with his family of five in South Minneapolis, streaming a rugby match, barbecuing (smoking) in his backyard, or enjoying a few pints, a song, and the craic with his friends.

As a first-generation Irish-American and a dual-citizen, he is completely unable to make a long story short. Therefore, after nearly 15 years, he is still working on his second book with the working title: “Tattoos Hurt and Latex Doesn’t Breathe: a collection of stories overheard in Irish-American pubs”.
